Welded steel meshes

The use of welded steel meshes in industry and construction is increasing continuously, particularly in various applications related to safety, storage, logistics, warehouses and real estate. A welded steel mesh is easy to install and combine with other materials. This makes the welded steel mesh versatile and efficient to use in industry and construction.

Typical applications include storage facilities and warehouse security, facades, machine protection, handrails of staircases and platforms, ceilings and gabions. A solution designed together with the end customer brings about the optimal solution.

STW Steel’s welded protective meshes are manufactured by welding steel wires together. The welded joint provides the protective mesh with a very strong and stiff structure. The large number of joints distributes the load evenly across the entire mesh.

Welded meshes are manufactured in standard sizes, starting from 1000x2000, 250x2500 and 1500x3000 (mm). Mesh sizes up to 3000x6000 are available on request. Meshes can also be supplied in rolls. Customer-specific solutions are offered with different mesh numbers and types of wire and material according to the customer’s need.
